NUCLEAR CARTEL WIELDS THEIR “PEOPLE PERSUASION MACHINE” TO RE-START JAPAN’S 49 NUKES

 23 Jan 2012

NUCLEAR CARTEL PR IS GOING ALL OUT!!  Exactly as anticipated, the Nuclear Cartel is wielding its mighty Western Press Public Relations  Machine.  For starters, they give the Vienna-based  International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA) attributes It does not have when they call it: “The United Nations” (or UN) agency THAT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE! – AND THEY KNOW IT!  PLEASE READ MY 28 Sep 2011 ARTICLE de-bunking that lie at: http://energymaters.com/?p=324   Just check some  prominent publications headlines today:

PUBLICATION: NEWS. DISCOVERY HEADLINE, 23 Jan 2012: Japan Wants *UN* Atomic Agency in Fukushima (Ref  International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). http://news.discovery.com/

PUBLICATION: REUTERS HEADLINE NEWS, 23 Jan 2012 – A team of *U.N.* nuclear experts on Monday began a review of tests conducted by Japan to prove the safety of its nuclear reactors in the wake of the Fukushima radiation crisis.  (Notice they say nuclear reactors – plural.  The stress tests are being conducted at Ohi NPP, but are intended to apply to all idled Japanese NPPs). The Vienna-based International Atomic Agency’s (IAEA) team of 10 experts will be in Japan until January 31, 2012. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/01/23/us-japan-nuclear-iaea-id

PUBLICATION: AFP HEADLINE, 23 Jan 2012 – “Japan seeks *UN* atomic agency presence in Fukushima” Japan is asking the UN’s nuclear agency (IAEA) to set up a permanent office in Fukushima to monitor its efforts to contain the world’s worst nuclear accident since Chernobyl. The International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA) was “carefully considering” the request, said James Lyons, who is leading a team of IAEA experts reviewing Japan’s safety tests for idled reactors. http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/art…ffeda85dc34.701

JAPAN TIMES – ONLINE – Kyodo,  23 Jan 2011  *** They have seen the light!!!***  International Atomic Energy Agency team, NISA hold first talks on stress tests An International Atomic Energy Agency delegation tasked with evaluating the adequacy of the nation’s reactor stress tests held its first meeting 23 Jan 2012 with the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency(NISA).  TO THEIR CREDIT “The Japan Times” did not refer to IAEA as a UN agency.  HOW ABOUT THEM APPLES!!!  Japan is tired of the “PEOPLE PERSUATION PARODY” being carried out by the Nuclear Cartel to assuage the world that:  “NUCLEAR IS SAFE” and what about Nuclear waste??? http://www.japantimes.co.jp/text/nn20120124a6.html

PUBLICATION: WALL STREET JOURNAL,  23 Jan 2012 … “So far, Japan’s efforts to regain public support for restarting the reactors has made little headway, with 49 out of the nation’s 54 reactors currently offline. By May, those last five will be required to close for maintenance. The head of the IAEA mission James Lyons, said: “… a decision on whether to restart Japan’s idled nuclear reactors is solely up to the Japanese government”.  (NOTICE THE IAEA’s SPOKESPERSON J.  LYONS’ RESPONSIBILITY DISCLAIMER).  Good article by WSJ !http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204624204577178472176340772.html?mod=googlenews_wsj

WHO WILL ATTEND THE “NUKE RE-START” Party.  One wonders who else Japan has invited to their “A’ta-Boy!!- Party” with the IAEA at the end of Jan 2012.  Oh yes! They are clearly in a “Railroading mode” – Highest priority in Japan. You can be sure France, the USA, and other representaives will be in attendance.  Japan hopes their pressence will bolster their Nuke Re-start Initiative, and provide much needed credibility to the global Nuclear Industry.  THEY ARE WRONG FOR MANY REASONS. We will elaborate on those later.

Publilius Syrus: “Nothing can be done at once hastily and prudently.”

Reply: Sounds true, and similar to: “Haste makes waste” – Nuclear waste, that is.
